Workshop & Happy Hour: Crafting the Arc of Powerhouse Campaigns

Learn how to shape the arc of advocacy, fundraising and program marketing campaigns to propel your mission and motivate giving. This case-study-based session kicks off with a discussion of ForestEthic's campaign against the tar sands oil pipeline in Canada. We’ll dig into the key elements of their story arc plus to showcase a proven method and tactics you can use in your campaigns—no matter the focus.

Takeaways include how to:

  1. Shape a campaign arc that moves your network to action—to care, to advocate, to register, to spread the word, to give and more.
  2. Create a series of touch points that build supporter interest, focus, confidence and loyalty.
  3. Select the right practices—including integrated tools, well-defined roles and responsibilities—to spark advocacy and other support and raise money, while engaging your community for the long-term.

Bryan Casler
Sales Engineer, Product Manager, Salsa Labs

My passion is making technology accessible and understandable. I have experience researching, proposing and implementing technical solutions. From the Marines to my non-profit work and then into the world of Enterprise Sales, it has made me resilient. It has challenged me to learn new technical systems, to quickly adapt to changing constraints, and to communicate clearly and openly with my coworkers. I believe Technology can make our lives better and I have been preaching it for years; but I can do more. My experience with Salsa, work with IVAW, political organizing, and military service are what drive me to seek new challenges and opprtunities.
